The Design Process
UWD design team works together with designers, architect and private clients. Every product can have its size modified and can be adopted to fit specific faucet or outflow system. Unique Wood Design consultants explain technical details, prepare assembly and send wood samples to help with the colour composition. In some cases, it all starts with a napkin sketch.

Conditions of use in Hotels are much more demanding than the ones in private residences. Products need to be extremely durable and easy to maintain. For certain SPA and wellness they also need to allow bathing with the oils, soaps and other additives. Unique Wood Design products are designed to meet these requirements. Maintenance
Thanks to the DeepWood® impregnation technology the wood is completely sealed and water resistant. As for cleaning one can use standard, soft cleaning substances and no special maintenance is needed. The special coating provides superior resistance to limescale residue. After bathing, water can be left inside for long as long as desired. Effectively use products will last for many years and serve for generations.
UWD Worldwide
Unique Wood Design products are shipped from a workshop in Poland to destinations all around the world. Wooden bathtubs and washbasins are installed in transoceanic yachts, hotels, SPA-s, restaurants and private flats. UWD international partners provide complimentary services to assist clients world-wide. Products are displayed in showrooms and boutique shops, and often can be seen on international trade fairs.

It was the dream of the building owner to have installed a wooden Japanese Ofuro bathtub which was build-in and connected to the inlet of hot water coming from geothermal source. Unique Wood Design technical team acted proactive – they immediately proposed suitable technical and ergonomic solutions.
