Custom wooden bathtub made in stained Walnut

An extraordinary residential project commenced in the Seychelles by interior design company Dp Agence. The round wooden bathtub was made out of American Walnut and stained to almost pitch black. Only when exposed to direct light, the stunning wood texture can be seen, like from behind dimmed glass. This way the true identity of the wood is hidden and only partially revealed. The design of the bathtub is also completely custom, with additional details like LED lighting built in the upper rim. All fittings, including hidden overflow, were custom crafted by Volevatch – top world class artisans from Paris, France.
